Santa Cop Toy Drive
The Pomona Police Department and community volunteers donated toys to over 600 kids from all over the community. This community effort was followed up with numerous donations from citizens and local businesses, including Cal Spas. The Santa Cop Toy Drive has been a tradition in the City of Pomona for years in order to brighten up the holidays for families in need.
Cal Spas hosted a toy drive in efforts to collect toys for the Santa Cop program implemented by the Pomona Police Department, Crime Prevention Unit. Dozens of toys were donated from company employees to help make the holidays enjoyable for families in Pomona. The donation box was overflowing when officers from the Pomona Police Department picked up the donations from the Cal Spas offices.
“We are always seeking opportunities that support our local and surrounding communities,” said Casey Loyd, President of Cal Spas. “It is an honor to participate in the ‘Santa Cop’ program implemented by the Pomona Police Department to brighten the holiday season for families in need within our local community.”
Families received Christmas gifts from hundreds of available donations. The Pomona Police Departments were fortunate to provide over 160 families and 600+ children toys at their Christmas gathering that included refreshments and the man of the hour, Santa Claus himself!
